“Syl & Vern” Wood Block Print

These are prints pulled from a variety of surfaces, Lino Block, Wood Block, Intaglio (zinc, copper or aluminum plates), Mezzotint, Carborundum and Mono Prints usually from glass. The impressions are either hand pressed using a bamboo barren or any other manner of tools such as a trusty wooden salad spoon. Others are put through a ship’s wheel Intaglio press with 7″ rollers and a 30″ x 60″ press bed.
